Core Strategy Spatial Development Options & Sustainable Neighbourhood Assessment Consultation
Eastbourne Borough Council is consulting with the general public on the Core Strategy and Sustainable Neighbourhood Assessment through a series of local neighbourhood consultation events. Consultation material displayed at the neighbourhood events is available to view on-line, giving stakeholders and members of the community that are unable to attend the neighbourhood events the opportunity to comment.
Core Strategy Spatial Development Options
The Council is currently consulting with the public on where future housing development should be located. Four potential options are presented for consideration. It is critical that the Council hears and considers your views on the options before preparing the final development strategy.
Sustainable Neighbourhood Assessment
This emerging evidence document provides an audit of the Borough's 14 neighbourhoods , analysing how each neighbourhood looks, feels and functions for the local community. The assessment looks at current local issues, identifying any future needs and improvements that could be made to the neighbourhood to make them more sustainable in planning terms. The completed assessment will be used as evidence to develop policy in the emerging Core Strategy.
